The integrated calculator
When entering data, it is sometimes necessary to provide sums or percentages. To calculate these quickly and easily, users have access to the calculator.
Without having to open an external application, calculations can be performed directly in Lohnsteuer kompakt. The calculated value can be transferred directly into the relevant field of the tax return. This helps to reduce errors.

Dieses Symbol weist auf die Notiz-Funktion hin. Diese kann nützlich sein, um während der Eingabe eine Erinnerungsnotiz über spätere Ergänzungen in diesem Bereich zu erstellen.
Sie befinden sich in der Anlage Vorsorgeaufwendungen. Dort machen Sie Angaben zu entstandenen Aufwendungen für Ihre private Krankenversicherung. Die entsprechenden Beitragsrechnungen und genauen Zahlen haben Sie im Moment aber nicht zur Hand. Klicken Sie auf “Notiz”. Tragen Sie eine Erinnerungshilfe in das Textfeld ein und klicken dann auf speichern.
Am Ende Ihrer Dateneingabe und bevor Sie Ihre Steuererklärung an das Finanzamt abgeben wollen, klicken Sie wieder auf “Notiz”, anschließend auf “Übersicht”.
Ihre Erinnerungshilfen werden mit einer direkten Verknüpfung zu der Seite, wo die Ergänzung einzufügen ist, angezeigt.

Assistance with calculating distances
Wherever you see the following symbol, you can directly calculate the distance in kilometres.
Simply click the button to start the distance calculation dialogue. Enter both the starting address and the destination address.
Based on your entries, a map with the shortest distance will be created. If you choose a longer route because it saves you time, move the marked route with the mouse. The distance calculation will then be automatically updated.
Once you are satisfied with the marked route, transfer the calculation result by clicking "Enter distance in form".
