During the processing of your tax return, Lohnsteuer kompakt provides you with various documents in PDF format. These include the completed tax forms for the "Paper" submission type or the compressed tax return, which you must sign and submit if you have chosen the "Online Basic" submission type.

If you are unable to open these documents, you may need to install or update the Adobe Reader software, which you can download here. Alternatively, this may be due to the security settings of your internet browser or antivirus and security software that may block the download of files from the internet. Please also refer to any relevant instructions from this software.
