If you had an entitlement to comparable benefits (e.g. foreign child benefit, child allowances from statutory accident and pension insurance), select "yes".

Important: The entitlement to child benefit is automatically determined based on your entries and used for further calculations by Lohnsteuer kompakt. The following entries are required for a correct determination of child benefit:

• Date of birth
• Place of residence during the year 2025
• Child's relationship to Husband and Wife

In the so-called favourability test, the entitlement to child benefit is always applied. Whether you actually received the child benefit or how much was paid out is irrelevant.
