The tax office recognises a standard allowance of 16 Euro per year as income-related expenses for professionally initiated transfers without proof.

The amount of 16 Euro is an annual sum. You can also deduct this amount even if you open an account in December. You may claim this amount even if the employer reimburses you for account management costs. The reimbursement of costs is taxable and is taxed together with your salary.

Of course, you can also deduct a higher amount than 16 Euro as income-related expenses, but to do this you must prove that the professionally initiated transfers cause higher costs or that the share of professional costs is higher.
