Field help: Entitlement to alternative child benefit or comparable payments

Enter the annual amount if different German child benefit was received for the child in 2025 (e.g. not for all months) or if there was an entitlement to comparable (usually foreign) family benefits.

Typical cases are:

• Different German child benefit: Child benefit entitlement existed only for part of the year (e.g. due to moving to or from Germany).
• Comparable benefits: Entitlement to a foreign state family benefit (e.g. from the EU/EEA or Switzerland) equivalent to German child benefit.

Important: Only enter the amount to which there was an entitlement in 2025. Payments for other years or back payments from previous years do not belong here.
