Field help: (2022) Degree of disability

Enter the degree of disability (GdB, max. 100).

If the degree of your disability changed in the assessment year 2022, indicate the highest degree of disability that existed.

As proof, submit the following documents to the tax office if you have not submitted them in previous years:

• severely disabled card or
• pension approval notice from the social services office or
• statement from the care insurance fund (for nursing care level 4 or 5)

If you have been determined to have a degree of disability of less than 50 but at least 20, you may provide proof of the disability by means of a pension notice (Rentenbescheid) from the social services office or a statutory accident insurance (Unfallversicherung) or - in the case of civil servants who receive an accident pension (Unfallruhegeld) - by means of a notice from their authority.

Based on this information, Lohnsteuer kompakt will calculate the disability allowance (Behindertenpauschbetrag).
