Field help: Identification number

Enter here the 11-digit tax identification number of the person being cared for. You can usually find this on the last income tax assessment notice or on correspondence from the tax office. Alternatively, the tax ID can be requested from the Federal Central Tax Office and will be sent by post.

Without the identification number, the care allowance is no longer granted if the person being cared for is registered in Germany.
