Field help: Were meals provided by the employer in Germany?

If you received meals for free from your employer or at the employer's instigation (e.g. through a hotel with breakfast) during your business trip away from home, the meals allowances must be reduced.

Choose   "yes" if you were provided with breakfast, lunch or dinner in Germany.

The statutory reduction amounts (2025) are as follows:

• Breakfast: 5,60 euros
• Lunch: 11,20 euros
• Dinner: 11,20 euros

Then enter the total of the reductions in the "Reduction amount due to meals provided" field.
